KWARA FOOTBALL ACADEMY TECHNICAL DIRECTOR SAMUEL ELIJAH SALUTES ACADEMY STARS AFTER THRILLING COMEBACK TO WINNING WAYS

KWARA FOOTBALL ACADEMY SHINES WITH 3-1 WIN OVER HOUSE OF PRAYERS

After a disappointing 3-4 loss to Imperial FC at home, Technical Director and ex-international, Coach Samuel Elijah MON, rallied his young troops at the Kwara Football Academy, and they responded with a resounding 3-1 victory over House of Prayers.
The match, which was initially scheduled for an earlier date, was rescheduled, giving the team more time to plan and correct their mistakes. Coach Elijah attributed the previous loss to the players underrating their opponents, but he was proud of the team's bounce-back performance.

"My boys paid heavily for underestimating their opponents in the last match," he said. "But we had a long talk, and they responded positively today. House of Prayers is a good side with quality players, but our young team, with most players below 19 years, gave us an edge and advantage to overrun their defense."
The win was a testament to the team's proactiveness and coordination, which improved significantly after the tough loss. Coach Elijah emphasized that the academy's target is to showcase their quality players to the world and win the league.

"The first stanza of the league has opened our eyes, and we're committed to improving ahead of the second stanza," he added. "We're not ready to slow down or lose any points. The league is a marathon race, and we've learned our lesson."
The Kwara Football Academy will face House of Prayers again in their next match, and Coach Elijah is confident that his team will come out on top.

Let's keep the momentum going, Kwara Football Academy
