NEW COVENANT CHURCH HOSTS BOYS BRIGADE ENROLLMENT AND DEDICATION SERVICE
The New Covenant Church Asadam Center Ilorin, Kwara State, hosted the 1st Enrollment and Dedication Service of the Boys Brigade Nigeria 24th United Central Battalion Council. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officers of the Nigeria Boys Brigade from across various centers in Nigeria, including Kwara
The Boys Brigade is a global organization aimed at helping boys grow in God's ways and become responsible citizens. 
During the service, the Senior Pastor of the New Covenant Church, Dr.Rev. Pastor Akinwale Johnson, was decorated as the Chaplain of the Boys Brigade Nigeria 24th United Central Battalion Council of the New Covenant Church Asadam Center Ilorin, Kwara State and was also presented with a certificate."
Elder Ben Kayode S.O. Alaho, the Executive Inaugural Organizer and Zonal Secretary of the Nigeria Boys Brigade, expressed gratitude to the New Covenant Church leadership for accommodating the Boys Brigade in their premises.
 He appealed to parents and guardians to enroll their children in the Boys Brigade, citing the organization's focus on teaching children the ways of God and helping them become responsible citizens.

 "We believe that the Boys Brigade is the church's new baby, and it requires attention, care, and nurturing from the church leadership," the Senior Boys Brigade Officer, Elder Alaho, said.
 "We appeal to parents to allow their children to join the Boys Brigade, as it will provide them with the necessary training and guidance to become responsible and God-fearing individuals."
The New Covenant Church Senior Pastor, Dr Rev. Pastor Akinwale Johnson, was overwhelmed with the honor bestowed upon him as the Chaplain and assured the Boys Brigade leadership of the church's support and partnership.
 He noted that the organization would provide a valuable opportunity for young people in the church to grow in their faith and become responsible citizens; it will help them to have knowledge of paramilitary training and also to be disciplined.
Finally, the church coordinator, Mrs. Monday Abosede, who was decorated as the Captain of the Nigeria Boys Brigade 24th United Central Battalion Council of the New Covenant Church Asadam Center, Ilorin, Kwara State, expressed her gratitude to God for making the day possible. 
She thanked the church leadership, acknowledged Dr Rev. Pastor Akinwale Johnson's support, Officer SOJ from other centers, the leaders of the Nigeria Boys Brigade, officers from other centers, parents, and the New Covenant Church members for their time and effort put together for the successful service. 
She appealed to other parents who are yet to release their children to do so, in order for them to benefit from the great opportunities.
