Oparanmegwa Pattra Reaffirms Commitment to Delta Queens Despite 5-3 Setback Against Dannaz Ladies

Delta Queens prodigy Oparanmegwa Pattra has pledged renewed  commitment to the club despite the team’s hard-fought 5-3 away defeat to Dannaz Ladies in the ongoing Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
Pattra, who made her debut for Delta Queens at the start of the season, has quickly become a key figure in the squad In seven appearances, the right back defender has already registered three assists, with her creativity and vision proving instrumental in lifting Delta Queens to 6th place on the league table as the season intensifies.
Speaking after the clash with Dannaz Ladies, Pattra expressed optimism about the club’s trajectory and her personal ambitions. “My dream is to wear Nigeria’s national colours and make my debut with the Super Falcons if the opportunity comes,” she said. “Michelle Alozie is my role model — watching her play always inspires and motivates me to push harder.”
Despite the disappointment of the 5-3 result, Pattra remains confident that Delta Queens can finish among the top three teams by the end of the NWFL season. She credited the club for providing a platform to showcase her talent and vowed to repay that faith with greater commitment and dedication.
