FAIR PLAY DEMANDED AS ABRAYSPORTS, LA-PLANET CLASH FOR NLO ILORIN CROWN

Kwara Stakeholders Charge Officials on Integrity
The Nationwide League One Ilorin Center final takes center stage Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium, where Abraysports FC and LA-Planet Football Academy will battle for Kwara State’s playoff berth.

The winner-takes-all clash offers the victor a place in the NLO playoff and a shot at promotion to the Nigeria National League. The loser’s season ends at the final whistle.

Kwara State football stakeholders commended match officials for raising officiating standards and applying the Laws of the Game with consistency throughout the Ilorin Center campaign.

They urged the referees assigned to Friday’s June 12 2026 final to maintain that level of excellence.

“There must be no favors, no politics, no stray whistles,” the stakeholders said in a statement.

“Our charge to the officials for this champions’ decider is clear: administer justice on the pitch without bias and in strict accordance with the Laws of the Game.”
Both Abraysports and LA-Planet have been praised as the standout teams of the 2026 NLO season in Ilorin center

Stakeholders, however, stressed the uncompromising nature of the sport.

“Both clubs have fought for this moment,” the statement read. “Abraysports and LA-Planet are the heroes of the 2026 Nationwide League One campaign from Ilorin Center. But football is decisive, and only one team can advance.”
The objective is straightforward: present Kwara’s strongest team for the NLO playoff, compete for an NNL slot, and elevate the state’s football profile.

Stakeholders have called on supporters, club officials, and football enthusiasts across Kwara to attend the final at Rashidi Yekini Stadium for what they described as a long-anticipated decider.

To the match officials, the message was direct: “Maintain fairness under pressure.
Your performance over 90 minutes will be assessed by NLO officials on ground. The quality of your decisions will determine your professional trajectory.”

The stakeholders expressed confidence that neutrality and professionalism on Friday could advance the careers of the match officials, and extended best wishes to both teams for a fair contest.
