The Ilorin Trader Football Association (ITFA) Organizing Committee Chairman, Amankwa Chukwu Peter, paid a surprise visit to High Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka (ACC), Sports Director of Abubakar Bukola Saraki Ilorin Football Club, in his office on Saturday, 20 June 2026.
The visit was to present the celebrant with a customized jersey ahead of his 50th birthday anniversary, scheduled for 28 June 2026 at St. Joseph Cathedral, Taiwo Isale, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Speaking during the visit, High Chief Alloy expressed gratitude to God for preserving his life and that of his wife. He described the dual celebration as a divine privilege, noting that both he and his wife share the same birth month, year, and hometown in Imo State.
“This is a day to celebrate myself and my wife. We have been married for 22 years without a single fight. I see myself as the luckiest man alive for having a woman of such character. It is God’s perfection keeping our home, and that is why we must celebrate to show appreciation to the Almighty,” he said.
ITFA Chairman Amankwa Chukwu Peter commended High Chief Alloy for his consistent support and generosity toward the association. He described him as “a giver, a God-sent mentor, and the brain sustaining ITFA through his kindness and encouragement.” He further lauded the celebrant for making history by single-handedly registering Kwaita Football Club for the 2026 Kwara State Challenge Cup with his personal funds, a feat he described as unprecedented.
As part of the tribute, Chairman Amankwa Chukwu, alongside Adexsports and veteran referee Adejoh Godwin ‘Mourinho’, presented a customized commemorative jersey to the celebrant. The association also announced plans to stage a novelty match in honour of High Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka’s 50th birthday celebration.
In their remarks, Adexsports prayed for long life and good health for the celebrant, applauding him as a mentor and ambassador of goodwill. Referee Adejoh Godwin ‘Mourinho’ described High Chief Alloy as a role model who champions the growth of others, and prayed that the family continues to witness more milestones in joy and abundance.
According to the ITFA Organizing Committee Chairman, all arrangements have been concluded to make the 50th birthday ceremony a memorable and historic event.
