Chief Mrs. Abimbola Olaoye, Proprietress of Olabim Football Academy and seasoned Match Commissioner, has lauded the GlobalScoutMe Cup 2026, Ilorin, describing it as the most impactful football scouting initiative ever staged in Kwara State.
Speaking after the final at the Kwara Football Academy, the veteran administrator and CEO of Olabim Football Academy commended the organizers for delivering a tournament of unprecedented quality.
“We have witnessed numerous football scouting programs across Nigeria and Kwara State, but this one is entirely different,” Chief Mrs. Olaoye stated. “It is well-packaged, professionally organized, meets global standards, and — most importantly — is completely free and open to all teams. I can clearly see the future of grassroots football growth in the state.”
Highlighting Kwara’s untapped potential, she added: “Kwara State is blessed with an abundance of football talents who are yet to be discovered. Initiatives like this are the bridge between the streets and the stadium.”
Chief Mrs. Olaoye specially saluted Mallam Abdullahi Adekunle Yussuf, Chairman of Abraysports FC the facilitator of the tournament, for his vision in birthing the project. She also expressed profound gratitude to the CEO of GlobalScoutMe Christian for selecting Ilorin as the host city for the landmark championship
