The maiden edition of the Future Field Team Governor's Cup and First Lady's Tournament entered Day 2 on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 with increased tempo, goals, and drama as secondary schools across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State battled for glory.
FOOTBALL KNOCKOUT RESULTS - DAY 2
The football segment delivered a hat-trick, a walkover, and a brace on Day 2.
1.Oke-Ero 3-0 Ekiti.
Oke-Ero advanced via walkover after Ekiti LGA arrived late for the screening exercise.
2.Ilorin West 4-0 Offa
This match produced the highest tempo of the day as Yusuf A.,wearing Jersey No. 9, stole the show with the tournament’s first hat-trick, scoring in the 38th, 42nd, and 51st minutes, while Jersey No. 13, Goodluck J., added the fourth in the 50th minute.
3. Isin 2-0 Asa.
In a thrilling encounter, Banmeke, No. 11, scored a brace in the 22nd and 30th minutes to power Isin LGA to the next round.
